The Glover-Edwards Conducting Programme is aimed at women conductors to bridge the gap between undergraduate and postgraduate study.
The programme is for women who are considering applying for a Master’s in orchestral conducting in the UK or abroad. Led by Sian Edwards, Head of Conducting at the Royal Academy of Music, and including masterclasses with Jane Glover and Alice Farnham.
APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2025/26 PROGRAMME ARE NOW CLOSED
The first weekend of the 2025/26 programme will take place from Friday 5 September to Sunday 7 September 2025 at the Royal Academy of Music. Three further weekends will be scheduled in October, November and January 2026.
The fee for the first weekend is £150, with generous bursaries available. There is no fee for existing Academy students. If you are selected for part two of the programme, there is no fee.
We make substantial contributions to all travel and accommodation expenses for participants.
